WHY ARE WE HERE?

FOMA was founded in March 2025 by a group of four young individuals, sparked by a familiar dilemma: “What should we eat now?” Not tomorrow. Not even tonight. But now.
So why “in just a moment”?

Finding a good place to eat - within walking distance and in a short amount of time - is often more frustrating and time-consuming than it should be. Even when you're just looking for a quick bite, deciding where to go can drain your time and brainpower.

With that struggle in mind, we - the founders of FOMA - set out to create a solution: a platform that allows anyone to enjoy quality, convenient, and joyful dining experiences - even when you're in a rush.

FOMA was born as an answer to the everyday challenge of choosing where to eat. Through this platform, we aim to help young people access reliable, updated, and diverse information about nearby eateries - contributed from various sources, especially from you: our users.

Though still a young start-up, FOMA carries a clear vision: to become a trusted companion for the new generation in their daily food journeys. We believe that eating isn’t just about satisfying hunger - it’s about living. It’s about sharing, connecting, and savoring life’s simple moments to the fullest.

We’re not just recommending the nearest, tastiest, or most popular places. We’re building a community where people can share their own food experiences, photos, and stories.
